The aim is a completely renewable heat supply concept with <strong>DGNB and QNG certification<\/strong> as a climate-friendly new build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>M&amp;P Energy<\/strong> developed a <strong>Geothermal system with 36 geothermal probes<\/strong>, respectively <strong>149 metres deep<\/strong>, which provides heat via underfloor heating, ensuring comfort in winter and passive temperature control in summer. From the feasibility study to the <strong>3D modelling of thermal effects<\/strong>, the water rights procedure through to the <strong>Planning ready for execution<\/strong> accompanied <a href=\"https:\/\/mup-energy.com\/en\/\"><strong>M&amp;P Energy<\/strong><\/a> every step of the project and thus ensured <strong>Quality and efficiency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to <strong>Optimum efficiency<\/strong> and <strong>Long-term reliability<\/strong> planned to ensure <a href=\"https:\/\/mup-energy.com\/en\/\"><strong>M&amp;P Energy<\/strong><\/a> one <strong>Monitoring during operation<\/strong> of the geothermal system. Two dedicated <strong>Temperature measuring points<\/strong> are installed in the inflow and outflow areas of the groundwater in order to monitor the temperature profile underground and thus ensure efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, recycled backfill sand from a regional rainwater retention basin is used for the geothermal pipe trenches, which underlines the endeavour to achieve DGNB and QNG certification as a climate-friendly new build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The planned implementation of the geothermal system at GSG Garbsen will result in a fully functional, renewable heat supply that will significantly reduce the school's carbon footprint and energy costs. The project also supports the city's overarching sustainability goals.
